Join our Supply Planning team as Strategic Material Planner where you will be responsible to meet our business objectives for cost reductions while supporting our production plan and customer service needs. Main responsibilities:

Responsible for planning of materials required to support production. Develop, implement, and manage target inventory levels and material strategies Collaborate with Procurement, KSOL and Vendors on Vendor Held Inventory or Supplier arrangements/initiatives Monitor supplier performance to ensure OTIF targets are supported. Provide long and short-term forecasts to Procurement/Vendors Collaborate with Marketing and Packaging to execute product launches or changes Work with cross-functional teams to reduce waste, delay, and excess inventory opportunities Manages rejected inventories and assures timely disposition of rejects. Develops phase-in plans and potential obsolescence projections to support new product and/or package introductions. About you BS degree in Business related field or equivalent work experience, MBA Degree in Supply Chain nice to have Three years’ experience in materials planning Proficient computer skills, especially a high level of Excel capabilities; Prefer to have knowledge of SAP/Polaris systems Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Strong communication and team building skills Ability to lead cross-functionally while balancing multiple priorities Detailed oriented and extremely accurate Hybrid- 3 times a week in Chattanooga, TN Why choose us?
