Build and manage a book of business by developing and maintaining customer relationships. Operational duties include dispatching drivers, rate quoting, negotiating, and customer service. Ability to work in a fast paced and multitasking environment. Must be able to make wise and profitable business decisions. You must care about your own success! Experience Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required. Logistics experience preferred. Trucking industry terminology a plus. Ability to multi-task and stay focused. Independent work ethic. Strong communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Job Summary As a Logistics Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating various aspects of the supply chain process to ensure efficient and timely delivery of goods. You will play a crucial role in managing inventory, optimizing transportation routes, and maintaining accurate records to support the logistics operations.
