Job purpose The Production Planner will be responsible for organizing and optimizing the production process to ensure timely delivery of products. This role involves coordinating with various departments, managing resources, and addressing production issues to maintain efficiency and quality standards.

Essential Job Functions Planning and Scheduling:

Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer demands and optimize workflow.

Resource Management:

Evaluate and ensure the availability of raw materials, equipment, and manpower for production.

Cost Control:

Monitor production costs and implement strategies to stay within budget.

Problem Solving:

Address production disruptions and productivity issues promptly to minimize downtime.

Reporting:

Prepare and submit regular status and performance reports to upper management.

Collaboration:

Work closely with quality control, warehouse, and other staff to ensure smooth operations.

Continuous Improvement:

Identify opportunities to improve productivity and reduce costs. Qualifications Proven experience as a Production Planner or similar role. Excellent knowledge of production planning and quality control principles. Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Effective communication abilities. High school diploma; further education or certification in production planning is preferred.
