Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Supply Chain & Logistics Coordinator to support and optimize our international and domestic operations. This role involves working closely with global manufacturers, overseeing product quality systems, managing international logistics, coordinating domestic warehouse operations, and maintaining inventory integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
Global Procurement & Vendor Management Place and track orders with global manufacturing partners Coordinate with overseas suppliers to ensure accurate and timely production Develop and maintain clear quality standards for manufactured goods Schedule and oversee on-site quality inspections at manufacturing locations Quality Assurance Establish, document, and maintain product quality systems Conduct or oversee quality inspections at the domestic warehouse Provide feedback and implement corrective actions when standards are not met Global Logistics Coordination Manage scheduling and tracking of international shipments (air and sea) Coordinate customs documentation and ensure compliance with import regulations with the help of our customs broker Work with freight forwarders and logistics providers to optimize costs and delivery timelines Domestic Shipping & Best Practices Develop and implement shipping standards to ensure timely, damage-free deliveries Work closely with warehouse staff to maintain packaging and labeling quality Monitor and evaluate shipping performance to improve client satisfaction Inventory & Systems Management Monitor inventory levels and reconcile discrepancies Assist with demand planning and inventory forecasting Support implementation and maintenance of inventory management software or systems
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or operations (international preferred) Strong organizational and communication skills Attention to detail, especially in quality control and documentation Familiarity with import/export procedures and logistics providers Proficiency with spreadsheets, inventory systems, and logistics platforms Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred:
Experience with overseas manufacturing or furniture/home décor industry Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) Prior work in a small business atmosphere
