As we grow, we are seeking a Technical Procurement & Logistics Coordinator to organize and manage part procurement, inventory, and shipping logistics that directly support our engineering and production teams. Job Overview The Technical Procurement & Logistics Coordinator will own the procurement and logistics processes for internal builds and customer orders. This role demands exceptional organization, strong system management skills, and attention to detail. You will work closely with engineering to interpret part requirements and ensure seamless material readiness for manufacturing builds and transition to contract manufacturing partners. You will also be responsible for managing logistics workflows to ensure parts, materials, and assemblies move efficiently and are properly tracked at every stage. This role is critical for maintaining operational discipline and ensuring production scaling at Triex. Key Responsibilities Procurement Management Source, purchase, and track parts, components, and assemblies for internal projects and customer orders. Maintain accurate records of all purchase orders, lead times, delivery schedules, and receipts. Proactively manage vendor communications, pricing, and lead time risks. Organize and maintain a clean, reliable procurement and MRP system. Logistics Management Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, including parcel, freight, and international shipments.
Manage receiving processes:
inspect, document, and properly stock inbound parts and materials. Ensure organized inventory flow and traceability of all parts through receiving, stocking, assembly, and shipping stages. Partner with carriers and logistics providers to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries. Operations Coordination Organize materials for internal builds and for transition to contract manufacturing partners. Conduct regular inventory cycle counts and ensure inventory accuracy and stock visibility. Support production planning by ensuring all parts are on hand according to build schedules. Engineering & Production Support Read and interpret BOMs, mechanical part drawings, and technical documentation to ensure correct procurement and logistics planning. Provide organized, proactive updates to engineering and production teams on part status, inventory readiness, and shipment tracking.
Qualifications & Skills Experience:
5+ years in procurement, supply chain management, logistics coordination, or production operations.
Organizational Skills:
Strong ability to manage complex procurement and logistics workflows with a high degree of precision.
Systems Knowledge:
Experience using MRP/ERP systems, inventory management tools, and shipping/logistics software.
Technical Literacy:
Ability to understand BOMs, part numbers, mechanical drawings (no full engineering degree required).
Communication:
Clear, professional communication across vendors, engineering teams, and logistics partners.
Problem-Solving:
Proactive mindset to anticipate delays, resolve procurement or shipping issues, and maintain operational flow.
