We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated professional to fill the position of Logistics Engineer I.
What you Will Do
The Logistics Engineer will apply their experience and knowledge developing Logistics Product Data (LPD). LPD comprises the support and support-related engineering and logistics data generated because of the product support analysis.
This includes data for maintenance planning, logistics design requirements, maintenance engineering, detailed maintenance task development, manpower and skills, facilities, transportation, supply support, parts packaging, initial provisioning, and cataloging.
The Logistics Engineer will apply their experience and knowledge to perform level of repair analyses, provide spare recommendations, identify UID candidates, develop detailed maintenance Logistics Product Data tasks (diagnostic, preventative maintenance, and corrective), conduct supportability related facilities analyses, refine maintenance concepts, and identify all the support resources required to support the fielded equipment.
The successful candidate must also understand and develop cataloging data to allow the Government to catalog all delivered hardware, spares, and support equipment. The cataloguing data includes provisioning Logistics Product Data and available Supplemental Data for Provisioning needed for the assignment of NSNs).
In addition to directly interact and communicate with End User Customers, DoD civilian engineering, and program management, candidate will work closely with Raytheon engineering, fellow logistics teammates, and Training personnel developing detailed and accurate operational and maintenance information in concert with established program requirements.
Candidate must be a United States Citizen, able to obtain/maintain a US Government security clearance (up to TS/SCI) and eligible to obtain any necessary Export Authorization.
An active/current clearance up to TS/SCI, eligible for crossover, is preferred.

Minimum of One (1) year of design and building computer based systems Holds (or has the ability to obtain) a minimum DoD Secret Security Clearance
Due to the nature of work performed, U.S. citizenship is required.
Knowledge and experience developing Logistics Product Data in accordance with GEIA-STD-0007 and deliverable requirements
Experience performing level of repair analyses, facilities analyses, refining maintenance concepts, and identifying all the support resources required to support the fielded equipment.
Understand and develop cataloging data to allow the Government to catalog all delivered hardware, spares, and support equipment. The cataloguing data includes provisioning Logistics Product Data and available Supplemental Data for Provisioning needed for the assignment of NSNs).
Reviews field support requirements and recommends tool and test equipment.
Establishes calibration requirements for field systems/equipment including all maintenance tasks.
Performs maintenance and maintainability demonstrations for customers.
Reviews handbooks for technical adequacy. Assists in the development of maintenance engineering and logistics support.
Plans and contributes to proposal efforts
Providing general engineering support for development of a sustainment model for a new program
Supporting the development of engineering white papers and presentations to help inform customers and guide support decisions
Supporting the development of supportability analyses which provide recommendations for long term product support, including spares recommendations, maintenance procedure updates, and parts and materials substitutions as needed
Ensuring the technical integrity, suitable quality, and adherence to standards for logistics artifacts through engagement in peer reviews, program reviews, design reviews, failure review boards, investigation teams, and working groups
Acting as a liaison with all engineering disciplines on the program
Developing operator-level and maintainer-level documentation
Collaborating with different teams to ensure positive technical results while balancing goals, approaches, and risks.
