Job Description:
A Logistics Analyst is needed in Opelika, Alabama.
- Coordinate overall logistics planning for manufacturing automotive parts, such as console, steering wheel, wheel cover, and hup cap.
- Coordinate and authorize delivery and shipment terms in negotiations with suppliers.
- Monitor and track flow of incoming and outgoing inventories and freight services to adjust logistics systems as necessary.
- Prepare logistics operations report for coordinating logistics support activities.
- Develop, maintain, and analyze warehouse activities and planning for Ecoplastic Automotive America’s operation, inventory, and shipping process.
- Gather data for analyzing the company’s logistics lifecycle and evaluating related cost.
- Determine need for selection/modification of freight service providers and make recommen-dations to improve efficiency of logistics operations.
- Maintain optimum inventory levels to ensure on-time deliveries to meet customer require-ments while minimizing carrying costs and premium transportation charges
