  • Job Overview:
  • Serve as a senior Manager to assist US Army clients in enhancing their training, operations, and readiness efforts with a focus on supply chain management, logistics capabilities, and contingency planning.

lead initiatives to improve supply chain operations across strategic movements, joint and interagency coordination, and crisis action response. Develop and optimize supply chain strategies, demand forecasting, procurement processes, supplier performance management, and inventory control. Design and implement comprehensive logistics plans and operational capabilities to ensure the success of supply and service functions. Additionally, support the creation of contingency plans to address potential disruptions and improve overall operational readiness through targeted training programs and exercises.

  • Additional Responsibilities:
  • Executes project plans in coordination with various subordinate commands, schedule meetings; secure video teleconferences and prepared general officer level presentations for Headquarters Army Materiel Command and supporting clients.
  • Fulfills requests for information from General Officer and Senior Executive Service (SES) Executives.
  • Operates independently to consolidate information from multiple sources to provide input to strategic-level products.
  • Provides subject matter expertise in the areas of Army strategic and operational level logistics and Department of the Army acquisition processes.
  • Applies analytical decision-making processes to propose changes in supply chain policies, procedures, and business processes.
  • Collaborates, coordinates, and synchronize efforts across AMC Major Subordinate Commands (MSCs), HQ staff, and Combatant Commands (COCOM) to assess and ensure sustainability in support of operational plans and implement process improvement in supply chain operations and business systems.
  • Interprets policies, procedures, and technical manuals to drive effective decision-making and improve readiness.
  • Adhere to company’s AS9100 policies, procedures and guidelines.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Education/Skills Required:
  • BS/BA degree in business, logistics, or a technical field plus 12 years of experience; or a HS diploma/GED plus 20 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office tools to include Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Active Secret security clearance required.
