ABOUT THE ROLE

The role of this position provides daily, weekly, monthly andyearly production planning, ordering and inventory control of rawmaterials and fuels, and analysis and verification of plantproduction, inventories, and consumption of purchased materials tokeep in-line with the budget.

WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH

Demonstrates a commitment to safety and environmental policiesby actively communicating, improving, and adhering to all safetystandards across work environments. Acts as a safety leader in the plant, identifying andmitigating risks through hazard recognition techniques whilefostering a strong safety culture for all employees at the Devil’sSlide Plant. Collaborates as a key member of the plant management team,focusing on plant performance, continuous improvement, andmaintaining accurate SAP master data, including daily productionreporting, long-term planning, and inventory management of rawmaterials, finished products, and fuel. Manages production planning by overseeing the weekly andmonthly confirmation and conversion of planned orders to processorders. Handles process order management, including monthly releases,daily confirmations, error resolution, and ensuring timelycompletion of all process orders. Conducts physical inventory audits of cement, clinker, and rawmeal weekly while ensuring daily, weekly, and monthly monitoring ofall production-related materials, including daily 2-hour inventorychecks and weekly raw material inventory verification. Ensures production vs. consumption accuracy by validatingratios for all HARP functional areas, monitoring factor changesdaily, and reconciling inventory fluctuations to maintainaccuracy. Oversees downtime reporting and reconciliation, ensuringcorrect heat factors, timely completion of notifications, weeklystop log reviews, and verifying runtime/downtime records to ensureoperational accuracy. Leads auditing, budgeting, and reporting efforts, includingannual process audits, TIS inventory verifications, SAP budgetinginputs, Mid-Term Plan development, and completion of the AnnualTechnical Report. Manages contracts, procurement, and logistics, overseeingthird-party services, raw materials, grinding media, CKD disposal,rentals, and contractor assignments while ensuring efficientproduction logistics.

  • Strong collaboration skills tocoordinate with operations, maintenance, logistics, and safetyteams. Attention to Detail
  • Ensuring accuracy in productionreporting, process order execution, and inventory control. Time Management & Prioritization
  • Ability to manage multipleresponsibilities efficiently, ensuring timely completion of audits,reporting, and production planning.

Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols andproper use of Holcim approved Personal Protection Equipment(“PPE”), including but not limited to respirators. Employees thatare required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where therespirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative andquantitative fit tests.
