This role is critical in ensuring that parts and equipment used in Powerhouse operations are accurately cataloged, photographed, and entered into the Vallen crib system for long-term accessibility and compliance. This is a 3-month Contract to Hire position that pays $20-$21/hr. to start and works Monday-Friday 7:30am-3:30pm.
Key Responsibilities:
Sort and organize industrial part inventories in a logical and consistent layout for review by subject matter experts (SMEs). Determine, with SME input, which parts should be retained or disposed of. Photograph retained parts and enter them into the Vallen crib system using a standardized procedure, ensuring parts are easily identifiable through images or associated make/model/serial numbers. Collaborate and communicate effectively with both hourly and salaried employees who possess detailed knowledge of the part inventory. Arrange crib parts in a functional, accessible system as directed. Assist in organizing and digitizing Powerhouse records using resources and instructions provided by Powerhouse personnel.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
Working knowledge of industrial or Powerhouse equipment and components. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and recordkeeping. Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with all levels of staff. Engineering or technical background, with the ability to understand the parts and processes involved. Proactive, self-directed, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision. Familiarity with EAR99 export regulations is a plus.
