Inventory Analyst
We are looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Analyst to join our team in Gainesville, Texas. This is a Contract to permanent position ideal for an individual who excels in inventory coordination, production workflows, and ERP system management. The role requires a hands-on approach to managing inventory processes and ensuring accuracy across operational systems.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the management and accuracy of inventory records within the ERP system, ensuring all data is up-to-date.
- Coordinate work orders and production flows to maintain consistency in inventory tracking.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in inventory counts and production reporting.
- Develop and implement best practices for inventory management processes.
- Collaborate with production teams to ensure the seamless movement of materials and products.
- Utilize NetSuite or other ERP software to track inventory levels and generate reports.
- Analyze inventory trends and provide actionable recommendations to optimize stock levels.
- Support auditing processes to ensure compliance with established inventory controls.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to improve operational efficiency.
- Assist with light accounting tasks as needed, such as journal entries or reconciliations.
- Proven experience in inventory management or a related field, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with ERP systems, such as NetSuite, and familiarity with tools like
IBM AS/400.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills for coordinating with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with production workflows and work order management.
