This role involves overseeing the purchasing, analysis, and organization of new car inventory to ensure optimal stock levels and availability for customers. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a background in retail management or supply chain management, enabling them to effectively contribute to our inventory processes. Duties Analyze market trends and sales data to determine optimal inventory levels. Manage the buying process for new car inventory, ensuring alignment with customer demand. Oversee stock levels and coordinate with suppliers to maintain adequate supply. Utilize a Warehouse Management System (WMS) for tracking inventory movements and order fulfillment. Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer preferences and adjust inventory accordingly. Conduct regular audits of new car inventory to ensure accuracy in stock reporting. Implement effective materials management strategies to streamline operations. Skills Proficient in financial analysis to assess profitability and performance metrics related to inventory. Strong retail management experience, with an understanding of sales processes and customer service. Knowledge of materials management principles to optimize stock handling and storage. Ability to sell and buy effectively, negotiating with suppliers for favorable terms. Skilled in analyzing data to inform decision-making regarding inventory purchases and sales strategies. Familiarity with supply chain management concepts to enhance overall efficiency. Experience with order fulfillment processes to ensure timely delivery of vehicles.
