What You Will Be Doing
As an Items Analyst

  • Level 2, you will play a key role in the planning, coordination, and continuous improvement of material kits that support our aircraft production and sustainment programs.

This position bridges the gap between Kit Management, Planning, and Engineering to ensure kits are accurate, efficient, and aligned with the latest designs. You’ll be part of a collaborative, fast-paced team where your problem-solving skills and attention to detail will directly impact production readiness and mission success.
Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Kit Management and MRP Planning teams to coordinate and maintain OBOM (Order Bill of Materials) data.
  • Support the planning and processing of material kit requirements, coordinating exceptions with the assigned planner as needed.
  • Establish and manage new material Top Kits and Sub-Kits within SAP.
  • Investigate and resolve MBOM (Manufacturing Bill of Materials) errors by verifying against EBOM (Engineering Bill of Materials).
  • Initiate and track corrections to Top Kits and Sub-Kits to maintain accuracy in SAP.
  • Coordinate the physical and system-based transfer of kits between kitting locations.
  • Manage kit changes, redlines, and implementation of design updates (cut-ins) to support engineering changes.
  • Identify, analyze, and mitigate material shortages to maintain kit availability.
  • Work with Technical Publications to align Kit Lists with MBOM/OBOM and minimize revisions.

Desired skills

  • Experience with SAP ERP system, particularly the use of reporting capabilities to gather data for iling performance metrics
  • General knowledge of the Department of Defense Supply System would be helpful
  • Extensive background and demonstrated experience in the supply logistics, supply chain management, and 3PL interactions
  • Candidate must possess excellent unication skills (Written and Speaking) and have the ability to multitask and adapt easily in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Must be able to work closely and professionally with others to gather and analyze data to aclish lex tasks

National Pay Statement

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $60,600

  • $106,835.

For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays.
