Atlanta, GA Reporting Type – In-Office (Non-Remote/Non-Hybrid) As a member of WinCup’s Shared Services Team – Supply Chain, supporting our eight U.S. based manufacturing plants to deliver world-class service levels to our customers, the Senior Logistics Analyst is responsible for: Managing the relationship with and performance of our 3PL partner Preparing annual Freight Budget (Customer Outbound, Intersite & Supplier Inbound) and monthly/adhoc Freight reports and analytics Initiating continuous improvement recommendations to optimizes freight spend through cube analysis, assignment of appropriate freight method, lane efficiency, etc. Supporting WinCup’s warehouse teams with implementation and training on the consistent use of transportation tools for dock appointment scheduling, load tendering, 3PL portal and various customer web portals. Supports warehouse moves as required. Interfaces extensively with Supply Chain, Customer Care, Operations and Procurement to coordinate 3PL loads, including loads expediting as needed. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Management of 3
PL Partner:
Maintains recurring meetings with 3PL to monitor service performance, cost and continuous improvement strategies. Communicates WinCup business changes, and coordinates quarterly business reviews with leadership team to review Freight KPI’s and initiatives. Benchmarks 3PL rates to ensure ongoing competitiveness of WinCup’s freight spend Leverages 3PL BI tool to analyze and report on freight metrics. Responsible for championing 3PL RFP initiatives at contract renewal. Obtains freight lane rates to support new customer quote opportunities
Freight Financials & Metrics:
Develops annual freight budget for customer, inter-site and supplier lanes in conjuction with 3PL. Partners with finance and 3PL to finalize monthly freight accruals. Provides monthly freight analytics and quarterly SI&OP freight reporting. Utilizes SpendHQ BI tool for internal freight analysis. Overseas power unit and trailer leases, and related compliance requirements. Ensures recovery of excess freight spend through rebillings or claims mechanisms.
Logistics Operations :
Networks extensively with WinCup cross functional peers to facilitate and troubleshoot shipments, coordinates and monitors expedites for urgent loads or schedule changes. Ensures reconciliation of date discrepancies between order and carrier Coordinates import logistics and customs clearance. Manages carrier claims for damages.
Continuous Improvement :
Seeks out freight savings opportunities through analysis and recommendations for customer moves, order moves, master billing, alternative freight modes, etc. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Logistics and/or Warehouse load management experience in a consumer products environment. Product mix includes floor load and palletized products. Strategic thinker – ability to digest multiple inputs (ie. order cube, transit time, MABD, product availability, resource constraints), translate them into supply chain risks and initiate actions to mitigate. Ownership and commitment to your role and responsibilities, recognizing your ability to impact supply chain performance and WinCup customer service levels (OTIF). Ability to work independently in a fast-paced work environment supporting 24×7 manufacturing operations. Ability to recognize urgent vs. routine situations and to prioritize work accordingly, which may at times require effort beyond standard business hours. Excellent interpersonal and communication. Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUPS, pivot tables, graphs) to develop reports utilizing multiple data sources. Qualifications ASCM certification or degree in Logistics or equivalent preferred. 3+ years working in a Logistics or Supply Chain role in a multiplant manufacturing environment. 3+ years experience working with ERP and TMS systems.
