In- Office (Non-Remote/Non-Hybrid) As a member of WinCup’s Shared Services Team – Supply Chain, supporting our eight U.S. based manufacturing plants to deliver world-class service levels to our customers, Supply Chain Analysts are responsible for: product data management (PDM) – creating and maintaining Items, Bills of Materials (BOM’s) ands Routings; establishing source codes; ongoing product change management in WinCup’s ERP systems managing inter-site orders, and troubleshooting product shortages; optimizing inventory across our network of eight U.S. based manufacturing plants. The Supply Chain Planning Analyst will own responsibility for one of the above primary planning functions, plus related reporting and KPI’s at any given time. Additionally, the Supply Chain Planning Analyst will support the Director of Planning with new product launches and product change management efforts as required. WinCup’s Planning Team approach is for all analysts to establish competency in all three core functions listed over the course of 18 months to ensure functional area backup as needed. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Product Data Management (PDM): Maintains ERP Master Data for Items, BOM’s, Routings and source codes (Make, Intersite or Purchase) of all Finished Goods and Raw Material SKU’s, throughout the product lifecycle with a critical level of accuracy. Leverages engineering product specifications data (ie. pallet TI/HI’s, cube per case, weight) and incorporates into master data set-up. Updates PDM Change Log to trigger Cost Accounting Team to perform standard cost rolls and inventory revaluations.
Planning/Scheduling of Intersite orders:
Plans, monitors and troubleshoots inter-site orders to ensure WinCup positions inventory at the appropriate sell plant in the most cost effective manner that ensures optimal end customer service levels (OTIF) and ongoing inventory target levels. Manages efficiency of inter-site orders to optimize cube per truckload. Interfaces regulary with planners at all WinCup manufacturing locations to guide production scheduling prioritization to minimize backorders and optimize inventory. Seeks out solutions to resolve product shortages with urgency, and updates order due dates to ensure visibility of latest information at the receiving plant location. Interfaces extensively with cross-functional resources (Supply Chain, Logistics, Customer Service, Operations planners and warehouses, Purchasing, etc.).
Inventory Management :
Perform ongoing reviews SMQ target inventory levels and stock types to identify necessary stock model overrides needed to ensure inventory optimization. Initiates recommendations to repurpose (relabel or repack) or inter-site transfer excess, slow moving or obsolete inventory to minimize obsolescence exposure. Work closely with Supply Chain leadership and Plants’ representatives to align PDM set up with ERP Stock Model Fundamentals. Monitor forecasting and capacity planning updates to assist in identifying gaps and address interim overrides needed to reduce service exposure and risk until recalculated by next forecast refresh. Support quarterly reviews of Obsolete and Slow Moving Inventory, and SKU rationalization opportunities. Support annual physical inventory.
General:
Maintain various reporting systems and processes to insure accuracy and timeliness. Significantly engage in WinCup’s upcoming new Sage X3 ERP system implementation. Responsible for multiple recurring and Ad Hoc analysis and projects as requested. Exemplifies WinCup’s OPERA Vision and Values. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Must possess a strong knowledge of supply chain fundamentals, ERP systems and product/material cost structures. Working knowledge of BOM’s, routings, MRP/MPS and scheduling concepts are essential. Strategic thinker – ability to digest multiple inputs (ie. capacity constraints, production downtime, raw materials delays), translate them into supply chain risks and initiate actions to mitigate. Continuous improvement oriented, strives to development preventive vs. reactive measures. Ownership and commitment to your role and responsibilities, recognizing your ability to impact supply chain performance and WinCup customer service levels (OTIF). Ability to work independently in a fast-paced work environment supporting 24×7 manufacturing operations. Ability to recognize urgent vs. routine situations and to prioritize work accordingly, which may at times require effort beyond standard business hours. Excellent interpersonal communication and critical thinking skills. Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUPS, pivot tables, graphs) to develop reports utilizing multiple data sources. Qualifications ASCM certification or equivalent preferred. Degree in Supply Chain, Business Management or related field or equivalent. 3+ years working in a Manufacturing Supply Chain role. 3+ Experience with ERP systems in a planning function (Sage X3 preferred).
