Job Description
Material Claims Coordinator 2.9 2.9 out of 5 stars 3665 Swiftwater Park Drive, Suwanee, GA 30024 The Material Claims Coordinator serves as a point contact between Atlanta Flooring Design Centers and our manufacturing vendors. This position involves receiving and researching flooring materials that have been deemed defective and could possibly quality for return credit from the manufacturer, preparing defective samples to be shipped to the vendors, and communicating with vendors on collection of claims that have been filed. Communication skills are of the utmost importance in this role, as you will communicate directly with vendors and internal customers frequently via email and phone calls.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Working with internal staff in various departments to collect and examine materials and any other related information that will support the claim to the mill Communicating effectively with appropriate mill personnel to ensure that claims are acknowledged, return authorizations are issued and delivered for processing Researching within RFMS (proprietary software) the ordering, delivery, receipt and disposition of materials in question Following up in a timely manner to make sure credits are issued and processed to completion for accounting purposes Other duties as assigned
