We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for an onsite Materials and Receiving Coordinator to join our dynamic team in Duluth, GA!
As our Receiving Specialist, you won’t just be handling shipments – you’ll be the vital link ensuring the smooth flow of goods in and out of our organization. This role offers a dynamic blend of responsibilities, from orchestrating logistics and fulfilling crucial orders to collaborating with diverse teams like Supply Chain, Engineering, and beyond to tackle challenges head-on. Imagine playing a key part in getting materials where they need to be, whether it’s for our cutting-edge production lines or our off-site satellite facilities. You’ll also have a keen eye on inventory, ensuring accuracy and resolving any discrepancies. Plus, you’ll be instrumental in preparing our finished products for global delivery, directly impacting our customer commitments. The day-to-day
Verify the part number, quantity, and material condition of all incoming materials from the receiving area to stockroom locations.
Collaborate with procurement teams to resolve any discrepancies related to Purchase Orders and materials, ensuring efficient fulfillment of internal and external customer needs.
Utilize fault isolation skills to guarantee accurate reporting of inventory at our off-site warehouse.
Identify and resolve inventory variances.
Determine the appropriate designation of material for off-site storage, considering upcoming material requirements.
Validate and coordinate the movement of products and materials, strictly adhering to industry regulations.
Support quality checks of system packing information sheets.
Coordinate with Accounts Payable to reconcile freight and warehouse invoices.
What you’ll need
3+ years of experience in physical inventory maintenance, receipt and stocking. Experience in manufacturing, transportation, customer service, and/or distribution environments.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel (VLOOKUP’s, pivot tables, etc.)
Strong organization, oral and written communication skills.
Experience working with internal and external customers.
Exercises judgment within defined practices and policies.
Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively as a team member to meet goals while maintaining an organized and systematic approach to task completion.
A well-qualified candidate will be a self-starter, exhibit strong problem-solving skills, forward-looking approach, and a bias for action. They are team-oriented and able to thrive in a fast-paced arena.
US Citizenship is required.
High School Diploma.
What will help you on the job
Shipping and packing experience.
SAP, Oracle or a comparable ERP inventory management tool.
Experience with Inventory and Manufacturing modules with projectized data.
Knowledge of Cycle count methods and policies.
Functional analytical aptitude capable of interpreting data to identify trends.
Intermediate to advanced excel skills plus.
AA Degree or equivalent experience.
Salary range
$18.51 – $31.97 / hourly. For specific work locations within San Jose, the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, the base pay range for this role is $25.24 – $37.74/ hourly
