The ideal candidate will play a critical role in managing inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock availability, and supporting the overall efficiency of our supply chain operations. This position requires a strong understanding of inventory control processes, logistics, and e-commerce dynamics to effectively contribute to our distribution center’s success. Responsibilities Monitor and analyze inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability while minimizing excess inventory. Develop and implement inventory management strategies that align with company goals and customer demands. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including logistics, retail management, and finance to optimize supply chain processes. Utilize financial modeling techniques to forecast inventory needs and assess the impact of changes in demand. Conduct regular audits of inventory accuracy and resolve discrepancies in collaboration with warehouse staff. Manage relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of products and materials. Utilize MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems to streamline inventory processes. Assist in the development of contracts related to inventory procurement and management. Experience Proven experience in inventory control or management within a distribution center or retail environment is preferred. Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and their impact on inventory management is a plus. Experience operating forklifts or other warehouse equipment is advantageous. Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform financial modeling related to inventory forecasting. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
