Job Description

Materials Management Analyst As a Materials Management Analyst here at Honeywell, you will contribute to the success of the materials management process and team. Your primary objectives will include optimizing supply chain efficiency, reducing costs, and ensuring timely delivery of materials to support our production schedules. You will use your analytical skills, deep understanding of inventory management systems, and a strategic approach to schedule adherence and materials delivery supporting customer satisfaction. You will report directly to our Sr Materials Management Manager and you will work out of our Shreveport location. This is NOT a hybrid position. This will be 100% on site. In this role, you will impact and improve the supply chain planning and execution process within the ESS business. You will execute the vision and goals for the Materials Execution function and implementing and executing the processes to achieve excellence in SIOP (Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning), supply planning, inventory and replenishment management, and collaborate cross-functionally in resolving supply chain issues.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist in implementation of materials plan, Production Schedules and support inventory and stores functions
Liaison of cross functions such as planning, operations and quality
Ensure timely material ordering , Solve Material related problems
Monitor Engineering change requests to ensure data entry accuracy
Organize monthly meeting to monitor metric, provide data and analysis
Escalate shortage and potential shortages
Ensure compliance with GDM and assist with systems deployments as needed
Recognize implications of problems and gaps to the plan (SIOP) and accurately communicate/escalate
Liaison between cross-functional departments such as Procurement, Logistics, Engineering, Finance, and Manufacturing
Quickly identify issues and resolve or escalate appropriately
Responsible for identifying areas for process improvement and development within all levels of the operation
Challenge current manufacturing strategies to ensure that the best process and most customer-oriented strategies are being utilized
Computing and analyzing key metrics: Inventory accuracy, safety stock, customer on-time delivery (OTTR/OTFP/PLND), and drive root cause and corrective actions (RCCA)

YOU MUST HAVE

1+ year of experience working in material control systems such as MRP/SAP systems
E xperience managing, motivating, and guiding a team
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions
Intermediate to advanced skill-level in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.)
Excellent communication and negotiation skills

WE VALUE

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field
Experience in Materials Management, Operations, SIOP, Inventory Management, MRP MPS, Procurement Logistics, and Manufacturing
Experience materials management, procurement, and logistics, with a track record of success in optimizing supply chain processes
Strong project management and problem-solving skills
Ability to lead and solve complex organizational problems
Expertise in leading/driving change and mentor for new leaders or peers
Expertise across professional disciplines (Engineering, accounting, actuarial sciences, etc.)
