Job Description

Execute offsite repairs of SPR pumps, motors and valves to support all facets of drawdown. Develops and manages, including Cost Account Manager responsibility, the budget that impacts material acquisition, repair, or rebuild services as required to support pumps, motors and valves product line(s).Execute offsite repairs of SPR electrical and instrumentation to support all facets of drawdown. Develops and manages, including Cost Account Manager responsibility, the budget that impacts material acquisition, repair, or rebuild services as required to support electrical and instrumentation product line(s)Provide technical evaluations of vendor proposals regarding offsite repairs and new procurements.

Analyzes technical data from logistics Support analysis, Catalog, and Inventory systems deemed necessary to ensure that acquisitions reflect accurate SPR requirements in all product line(s).This position requires a high level of decision making which will have a direct impact on the Drawdown readiness of the SPR. Position holder must be capable of making best value judgments weighing budgetary constraints against drawdown availability and mission capability. This position will review and analyze purchase requisitions for accuracy and act as another form of checks and balances to support the sites with ordering materials. Excellent co-ordination skills with site personnel, procurement, vendors and finance is a must. Individual procurements and repairs initiated by this position could exceed 100K while annual budgets exceed 2 million. Position holder must have excellent money management and people skills.

REQUIRED

Bachelor’s degree or technical field and 3 years? experience in logistics or property management; or HS Diploma and 7 years logistics or property management experience with SAP or similar CMMS workflow knowledge . Good written and oral communication skills essential. Must be proficient with automated management systems.

DESIRED:

5 plus years SAP experience with maintenance workflows, including purchase requisitions, reservations, and procurement, data management, experience with SAP BOM development and structure
