JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Summary
Inventory & Warehouse Worker. Will reconcile production materials usage with work orders, cycle count inventory, make JDE inventory moves, assist in stocking-out materials to production lines, organize inventory for ‘first-in / first-out” usage and other materials related tasks.
Position Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Warehousing
Understand and operate appropriate computer systems
Follow FIFO guidelines in storage of product.
Create accurate pallet tickets as needed for raw materials and packaging.
Accurately update prepared reports and spreadsheets.
Certified to operate forklift and other material handling equipment.
Sanitation/Safety
Understands and follows all sanitation and safety guidelines.
Performs general housekeeping in work areas as needed or assigned.
Conducts forklift inspections prior to use. Submits work orders as needed.
Prepare and submit work orders for necessary repairs in work areas.
Become LOTO certified
Purchasing/Budget
Accurately update prepared reports and spreadsheets.
Inventory Control
Ability to perform daily review of production paperwork to identify, investigate and correct errors.
Request and print inventory reports as needed.
Ability to reconcile counts against inventory reports.
Accurate and timely completion and processing of paperwork and data input to support inventory transactions.
Performs inventory counts per instructions.
Execute system movements for all items moved on a daily basis
Accurately enters adjustments into the system as authorized from own counts, inventory clerk counts and negative report.
Reconcile JDE inventory (FG and Raw materials) nightly based on the materials used for the previous day production.
Accurately update prepared reports and spread sheets
Ability to complete tasks as required and complete appropriate paperwork accurately and in a timely manner. Transfer sheets (daily), destructions (daily), PW map (weekly) and pull sheets (as schedule demands) from the mix line.
Ensure filing is completed daily.
Develop and post schedule for Materials Management employees as required by the production schedule.
Act as point person for materials issues at production start-up.
Accurately updates prepared graphs and spreadsheets.
Other duties as assigned.
Leadership
Maintains documentation outlining how each aspect of job is performed to ensure ability to consistently perform tasks, assist back-up and assist in succession planning.
Identify material requirements for production. Prepare pull sheets for material handlers.
Identify processes / procedures that are not being followed or revised and notify Warehouse Supervisor. Work with appropriate parties as directed to correct or improve processes.
Position Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED
MSOffice & JDE Computer familiarity is desired
