POSITION PURPOSE
Responsible for acting as a liaison between our distributors, our customers and our company for inventory related topics. Responsible for controlling and maintaining inventory accuracy and adequate levels. Collecting inventory and sales data. Identifying and analyzing discrepancies. Developing and improving inventory control systems. Maintaining detailed records of transactions. Verifying and reconciling inventory counts from distributor warehouses and sales reps. Responsabilities and Tasks Implement and monitor programs and projects as directed by the Director of Logistics and Inventory Control and see them through completion. Generate memos, emails and reports when appropriate. Respond to questions and requests for information. Act as a liaison between the Sales Team, Customers and Distributors. Use both phone, email and Teams to contact customers and distributors to obtain inventory counts. Provide on-going feedback, training and supervision to the Customer Support Specialist team on inventory related issues. Provide monthly shipment and expirations reports to each distributor. Participate in collaborative meetings on projects. Monitor inventory levels and take corrective action if distributor or customers have too much inventory or expiring inventory. Create an inventory count schedule for each distributor and inventory location. Conduct required inventory counts and reconciliations in a timely manner with each distributor and customer holding consignment inventory. Make recommendation on charging distributors for lost or expired inventory and holding commission payments when distributors are not responsive. Process chargeback letters for distributors. Report inventory issues to sales team and company management. Process inventory returns. Make recommendation on improving inventory control. Investigate and reconcile lot issues on consignment sales orders. Complete the receiving function for transfer orders. Maintain strict confidentiality. Follow all company policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications:
Must have proficiency in MS Office with expertise in Outlook, Word, Excel PowerPoint, and Teams. Experience with ERP systems preferred. Must be detail-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment. Must have exceptional communication skills, both verbally in person and on the phone and in writing, primarily through emails and memos. Must be able to operate standard office equipment. Must have superior organization skills and a dedication to completing projects on time. Must have the ability to multi-task, while maintaining complex schedules. Must be able to work both individually and as part of a team. Must be able to arrive on-time on the designated workdays and work through the scheduled end time. What do we offer?
