Responsibilities:
Essential Job Functions:
Manage, control, oversee, coordinate, and implement the HazMart program and Serves as a technical advisor to the COR, Safety, Environment, and Industrial Hygiene representatives regarding the Hazardous Materials program and issues; participates when required in these functional elements of the ALC Business Management System. Serves as the HazMat systems administer utilizing the
EESOH-MIS
to management and update HazMart inventory data and ad-hoc reports. Researches
EESOH-MIS
master library database and the Air Force (AF) HazMat SDS Maintains the SDS Researches HazMat information utilizing the Reviews requirements for new HazMat and customer Processes and approves customer requests, enrolls new customers, and verifies Receives, issues, and stores hazardous Determines storage requirements, arrangement of materials, and space utilization Uses safe and secure storage and distribution practices to ensure maximum protection of workforce personnel and the environment. Processes approvals, rejects, denials, waivers, or terminations, and provides interchangeable or substitute stock items
IAW USCG
policies and procedures. Performs shelf-life inspections. Coordinates stock level. Distributes inventory listings to appropriate. Develops, replenishes, and monitors stock. Coordinates pick up and deliveries of hazardous. Trains personnel regarding OSHA HazMat communication. Tracks hazardous materials for deployments and develops operating instructions, and procedures involving hazardous material requirements and processes IAW Federal, State, and military regulations, guidelines, and instructions. Advises customers and assigned personnel of specialized or new HazMat policies, procedures, and requirements. Reviews proposed regulation revisions and submits recommended changes to Government POC, as required. Ensures all affected organizations and personnel are aware of new regulation, requirements, or guidelines. Develops and conducts HazMat training for Contractor managerial, supervisory, and other Develops lesson plans, course materials, schedules, and conducts training for Contractor Conducts worksite visits, identifies customer concerns, and determines material Makes recommendations to improve customer service and provides follow-up as Gathers and compiles information for reports to Federal, State, and USCG regarding program status, HazMat item status, compliance issues, budget information, etc., as requested. Trains HazMat employees in the use of the

software including, but not limited to: Directions to locate SDS on the ALC portal SDS retrieval from within the

HazMart Qualifications:
Necessary Skills & Knowledge:
Broad knowledge of general supply, storage, distribution, and inventory Knowledge of Federal, State, USCG safety and environment rules and regulations to ensure regulatory compliance. Knowledge of activities related to the applications within EESOH-MIS or a similar Capable of providing highly technical expertise and support in the use of Database Management Systems. Able to evaluate and recommend software change requests to ensure data integrity, security, and recoverability are built into the database application. Knowledge with
EESOH-MIS
software or similar applications designed for hazardous material management and are capable of formatting ad-hoc reports
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED Minimum two (2) years of related experience.
