Logistics Analyst Job Description We are seeking a skilled Logistics Analyst to standardize and enhance reporting processes within our supply chain operations. This role involves creating and maintaining accurate report templates, developing new KPIs, and driving initiatives to improve analytical capabilities through automation. The ideal candidate will ensure that all reports are completed with 99% accuracy and provide insightful analytics support across various scenarios. Responsibilities Create and maintain standard report templates for all daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly reports. Develop and maintain SOPs for all the reports created. Develop new KPIs to monitor current operations and flag abnormalities immediately. Drive initiatives to provide sales organizations and supply chain teams with additional visibility through new analytical tools and reports. Enhance analytics capabilities by detecting, eliminating, and improving current reporting processes using available automation approaches. Receive and ensure the timely and accurate completion of ad-hoc report requests. Develop and maintain inbound and outbound transportation rating engines to ensure outputs are within 99% accuracy compared to actual freight costs. Collaborate with functional and solution managers in simulation studies and provide analytics support across different scenarios. Provide solution managers with updated market trends for international ocean freight and align business practices with financial impacts. Support operation managers in LEAN continuous improvement projects by designing analytical templates and reports. Assist procurement and transportation teams with domestic RFP projects and data transformation. Identify inbound rating issues and improve processes to enhance business efficiency. Work cross-functionally with finance and business units to refine accrual processes and provide logistics insights. Adopt advanced IT technologies and software solutions for logistics simulations and analyses. Take on additional responsibilities in operational compliance activities and business analytical needs. Provide necessary training and introductory sessions for new managers in the supply chain team. Essential Skills Logistics Inventory management Supply chain management SAP Power BI Microsoft Excel 6+ years of supply chain experience Additional Skills & Qualifications Master’s degree in Supply Chain Analytics and MBA degree 6 years of cross-functional logistics/supply chain experience Experience in a multicultural corporate environment is preferred Business knowledge of consumer/B2B electronics Knowledge of database reporting packages (e.g., SQL, SAP, Cognos, SSRS, MicroStrategy) Lean Six Sigma (green belt) certification Microsoft certified ‘Excel Expert’ Work Environment This is a 100% remote position requiring work during EST hours, with a standard 9am-5pm, 40-hour work week. Travel may be required up to 10%. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $38.00 – $48.00/hr.
