DESCRIPTION
Job Profile The Inventory Control Analyst plays a critical role in managing and maintaining accurate inventory levels across multiple Netceed facilities within the US. This role ensures the integrity of inventory through structured cycle counts, discrepancy resolution, and cross-functional collaboration. The analyst serves as the primary point of contact for inventory-related issues in areas such as Inbound, Outbound, Accounting, Production, Quality Control, and Business Planning. This position also involves supervising a small team, driving continuous improvement, and supporting strategic inventory initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Generate and distribute weekly cycle count schedules and documentation. Monitor completion of first counts and enter results into inventory systems. Analyze accuracy by counter and identify areas for improvement. Coordinate and perform second and third counts to resolve variances. Investigate inventory discrepancies and prepare detailed reconciliation reports. Track items pending approval for adjustment and assist in locating missing inventory, including items in QA or temporary transfers. Generate daily Put-away and Pick validations report. Review count exceptions and conduct additional validations as required. Investigate discrepancies and collaborate with teams to resolve root causes. Lead consolidation efforts to optimize rack usage and reduce weekly counts. Create levels of cycle count execution monitoring and reporting to other US operations Analyze QA locations and manage the process for identifying and removing defective inventory. Assist in the preparation and execution of the annual Netceed stock audit. Travel to support inventory counts at remote facilities. Work alongside leadership to complete asset disposal forms and maintain inventory accuracy.
Requirements/Key Experiences:
Bachelor’s degree required. Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in inventory control or warehouse operations. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Filters, Functions/Formulas). Strong mathematical, analytical, and investigative skills. Excellent time management and organizational abilities. Proven leadership and team coordination experience. Clear and professional communication skills (written and verbal). Must be able to read, write and speak English. Capable of lifting and transporting materials up to 40 lbs. Ability to bend, climb, push, and pull, including the ability to maneuver at heights and in tight or small places. Willingness to travel and adapt to business needs across multiple facilities. Hands-on experience with ERP or WMS systems. Familiarity with inventory auditing processes and cycle counting best practices. A proactive and detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to process improvement and accuracy. Flexibility to assist with any other lawful duties as assigned by the supervisor.
