Description Supply chain analysis, forecasting, and optimization (80%)

  • Employ advanced analytical tools to interpret supply chain data, encompassing factors like availability, maintainability, reliability, supply chain management, strategic sourcing, distribution, supplier management, and transportation.
  • Utilize the extracted data to conduct analysis in various areas, including transportation expenses, material procurement, backlogs, delivery processes, supply chain efficiency, and opportunities for business growth. This analysis covers aspects like forecast accuracy, inventory allocation, and customer service.
  • Create and manage a structured database, incorporating tables, views, stored procedures, triggers, and other elements to enhance the identification and examination of trends and developments.
  • Monitor and maintain databases housing supply chain information regularly. This includes performance monitoring, enhancement planning, and demand management.
  • Identify potential risks and opportunities, such as market expansion, contraction, geographical shifts, and others, to drive changes within our supply chain while aligning with our brand strategy.
  • Ensure the smooth flow of chemical products from production to our distribution locations, maintaining effective communication with both suppliers and internal teams.
  • Conduct market and industry trend analysis, assess supply sources, and assist stakeholders in finding solutions for their specific requirements. Other (20%)
  • Keep up to date with industry trends and continuously improve procurement performance by utilizing and understanding best practices, lessons learned, and industry trends;
  • Keep in contact with local couriers like UPS, FedEx, USPC, etc.;
  • Keep contact with materials providers and others to secure a robust supply chain for the company;
  • Provide support for ad hoc projects, as required by supervisors.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Master’s degree in Business Analytics, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field;
  • Proficient in data analysis tools, e.g. Excel, SQL, and Power BI;
  • Knowledge of data visualization techniques to convey clear and concise messages to audiences;
  • Reliable communication skills and problem-solving skills.
