The Logistician Analyst will report to the Logistics Program Manager.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides program management for supply chain management contracts Interface with suppliers Responsible for performing tasks and duties related to logistics and supply chain operations Responsible for performing tasks and duties related to logistics and supply chain management operations, Monitors and services Quote Files, Processes Requests For Quote (RFQ), Receives and populates vendor bids ensuring source documentation is available and auditable for all Quote File activity, Monitors and updates Customer Sales Orders, Monitors and updates Customer Quotes on a daily basis, Monitors and updates purchase orders, Sources multiple vendors for items requested from Government, Monitors and updates financial information in spreadsheets, Supports all company safety and security policies and procedures, Receives and populates vendor bids ensuring source documentation is available and auditable for all Quote File activity Monitors and updates Customer Sales Orders Monitors and updates Customer Quotes on a daily basis Monitors and updates purchase orders
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Knowledge of the organization, functions, responsibilities and procedures within supply support operations Previous experience working with US Government Agency customers is preferred Understand, communicate, and ensure compliance with U.S. export regulations. Demonstrated ability to organize, direct, and perform supervisory duties in a manner conducive to full performance and high morale. Ability to maintain a variety of complex records and to prepare reports from such records. Demonstrated ability to develop written reports and action plans Ability to express ideas concisely and clearly, orally and in writing Ability to perform the full range of proposal, Quote and Order processing duties Considerable interpersonal skills, including the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others Experience and demonstrated ability to serve the customers and others with business in a courteous and professional manner Demonstrated ability to develop written reports and action plans Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to propose, organize and implement process improvements Monitors and services vendor quote files, Processes Requests For Quote (RFQ), Receives and populates vendor bids into the contract Quote File ensuring source documentation is available and auditable for all activity, Monitors and updates Customer Sales Orders, Monitors and updates Customer Quotes on a daily basis, Monitors and updates purchase orders, Sources multiple vendors for items requested from Government, Monitors and updates financial information in spreadsheets, Supports all company safety and security policies and procedures, Knowledge & Skills Knowledge of and ability to use personal computers and related software Demonstrated ability to organize, direct, and perform duties in a manner conducive to full performance and high morale, Ability to maintain a variety of complex records and to prepare reports from such records, Ability to express ideas concisely and clearly, orally and in writing, Considerable interpersonal skills, including the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others, Experience and demonstrated ability to serve the customers and others with business in a courteous and professional manner, Demonstrated ability to develop written reports and action plans, Planning and organizational skills necessary to prioritize and coordinate workload within a multiple project setting. EDUCATION & MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Associate’s degree and a minimum of two years of experience in an office, or an equivalent combination of education and experience in Supply Chain/Logistics. Not less than 4 years of related experience.
