Job Description

The Logistics Analyst III will coordinate, facilitate, and manage logistics operations for USMC acquisition programs. This role involves planning and executing materiel fielding events at various locations across CONUS and OCONUS.

Primary duties will include:

+ Support planning and coordination of logistics activities. + Field equipment following protocols, regulations, and military standards. + Collect and analyze data and create reports in support of decision making. + Provide functional expertise related to logistics in support of equipment and support equipment. + Maintain and document program data. Conduct research and studies. Report findings. + Update and submit monthly Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) reports. + Ensure all analysis and reporting adhere to relevant military standards, protocols, and security requirements. + Professionally engage with military customers to support Integrated Teams and process improvement. + Attend meetings, track action items, support the development of documentation for delivery to the Government. + Travel may be required.

Travel estimate:

10% or less. Requirements + Must have an active DoD Secret clearance. + Must have a HS diploma and five years of relevant experience – OR – a bachelor’s degree and two years of relevant experience; preferably in a military environment. + Proficient using CMPro or comparable inventory management system; GCSS-MC experience considered a plus. + Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Outlook and Excel. + Must possess professional communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. + Must possess excellent organizational skills and work as part of a cohesive team. + Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Physical Requirements:

+ While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and keyboard. + Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work. + Light to moderate lifting may be required. + Regular, predictable attendance is required; including quarter-driven hours as business demands dictate.
