Senior Supply Chain Management Analyst Company:
The Boeing Company Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is searching for a Senior Supply Chain Management Analyst to join the 787 Fulfillment HazMat team to join our team in North Charleston, South Carolina. At Boeing, ensuring our products reach the right place at the right time is mission-critical. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Supply Chain Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a vital part in driving supply chain performance, ensuring on-time delivery, and supporting production readiness across our programs. Position Responsibilities:
Guides integrated product design/build teams by independently representing Supply Chain Management (SCM) plans and strategies to arrive at optimal solutions. Leads cross-functional teams in the introduction of new tools and techniques. Presents analysis of performance measurements to senior managers. Investigates complex ordering conditions. Develops and implements new ordering methodologies. Ensures organizational compliance with inventory management policies, contractual requirements and governmental regulations. Creates complex schedules. Develops materials management estimates and schedules for new business proposals. Identifies, analyzes, develops and implements best practices, processes and procedures for SCM. Recommends changes to new or existing corporate and divisional policies. Leads teams and is responsible for overseeing, documenting, implementing and maintaining the improvements they contribute. Works under minimal direction. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): 10+ years of experience in supply chain management, procurement, warehousing, logistics or related fields 10+ years of experience creating, tracking and managing purchase orders, materials demands and shortages 10+ years of experience in demand forecasting based on production scheduling 10+ years of Continuous Improvement activities, projects and support Experience building strong relationships with external suppliers Ability to communicate closely with various cross-functional teams, customers, engineering, manufacturing Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): 10 + years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor degree + 10 or more years of related work experience, Masters + 8 years related work experience, 14 years’ related work experience, etc.) Proficient in procurement systems including Electronic Resource Planning (ERPLN), Ariba, SAP or similar systems Proficient in Microsoft Excel Proficient in ETRAC or other demand shortage tracking systems Proficient in Shipside Action Tracker (SAT) or other emergent demand callboard systems Proficient in Velocity Experience in commercial aerospace manufacturing, supply chain, customer support, business operations or related fields
