POSITION SUMMARY

The Associate Analyst-Supply Chain Inventory coordinates all assigned tasks related to inventory management. This also includes monitoring the phasing in/out of products, using test and promotional items, and solving inventory issues in a timely manner.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

May perform any or all of the following duties:
Identifies and reports obsolete, surplus, or excess inventory and assists with disposition options. Maintains standard policies and procedures to ensure that all inventories are adequately controlled; compiles, maintains and analyzes inventory reports.
Identifies and reports on recurring issues that drive inventory discrepancies; recommends and implements corrective actions to avoid recurrence.
Coordinates and communicates information to vendor distributors regarding promotions, product changes, and minimum orders.
Demonstrates oral and written communication skills; communicates effectively with various contacts (internal and external). Attends training to remain current on industry trends
Participates in company meetings, webinars, and conference calls
Performs other duties and/or special projects as assigned in response to changing business conditions and/or requirements Forecasts usage for limited-time offers and promotional events, and communicates expectations to distributors. Manages the phase out/phase in of new products, discontinued products, and/or vendor transitions. Works with purchasing and distribution to complete vendor and item set-ups in a timely manner.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS/CORE COMPETENCIES

Bachelor’s Degree in a Business-related field or equivalent experience.
Prior experience in an administrative, accounting, or finance role is highly preferred.
Working proficiency of Microsoft Office, including strong Excel skills.
Must have excellent math aptitude and strong analytical and reasoning skills.
Must possess a strong work ethic and professionalism to ensure proper handling of sensitive information.

Restaurant Support Center that is fast paced, high volume of activity, and a deadline-driven environment.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Sitting for extended periods of time, using the telephone, typing, and/or operating a computer and/or mouse
Travel could be required – 5%
