We are seeking a passionate and high-level leader to overseemulti-site Quarry Operations within the great state of Florida.

This individual will spearhead the management of daily activities,champion safety and regulatory compliance, boost efficiency andprofitability, and lead several cohesive teams toward achievingoperational excellence in all facets of the Quarry operation.

TheArea Manager is responsible for driving productivity, operationalefficiency, employee engagement, and customer service by overseeingand managing multi-site operations in their respective areas. Thisposition, based out of Texas, will oversee all Quarries located inFlorida and will report directly to the VP ofAggregates.

Responsibilities:

Manage multi-site Quarry operations, focusing on safety,production goals, quality standards, environmental compliance,production, maintenance, and logistics to ensure efficient andcost-effective achievement of objectives. Strategize and implement objectives and plans that align withthe company’s mission and vision, promoting a culture centered onsafety, performance, and quality. Enforce stringent cost control strategies, overseeingoperations within budget constraints while maintaining high-qualitystandards. Nurture and develop a team of supervisors, technical staff, andoperators through training, performance assessments, and careerprogression opportunities. Ensure strict adherence to company policies, safety standards,and environmental legislations, fostering a safe and respectfulworking environment. Evaluate current operational processes and systems to identifyand implement improvement measures that enhance operationaleffectiveness and profitability.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Geology, or relatedfield. Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in Aggregate/Quarrymanagement, showing a track record of operational success. Strong knowledge of Aggregate/Quarry production processes andequipment. Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonalskills, with proven effectiveness in guiding a diverse team. Extensive knowledge of health, safety, and environmentalstandards in the mining or quarry sector. Demonstrated proficiency in cost control and processimprovement initiatives. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and industry-relatedsoftware systems.
