Utility Foreman Position Available In Buncombe, North Carolina

Utility Foreman T.P. Howard’s Plumbing Co., Inc. 90 Number Nine Road, Fairview, NC 28730 T.P. Howard’s Plumbing is seeking a dedicated and experienced Utility Division Foreman to lead and manage our utility operations team. The ideal candidate will oversee day-to-day field operations, supervise a crew of workers, ensure safety compliance, and ensure the timely completion of utility projects. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with leadership experience in utilities, construction, or infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervision & Leadership:

Lead and supervise a team of utility workers, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and safely.

Project Management:

Oversee the execution of utility installation, repair, and maintenance projects, including water, sewer, gas, or electrical systems.

Quality Control:

Monitor work performance to ensure quality standards are met, while maintaining adherence to all local, state, and federal regulations.

Safety Compliance:

Ensure adherence to safety protocols and OSHA regulations, conduct safety meetings, and promote a safe work environment.

Resource Management:

Coordinate labor, equipment, and materials required for utility projects, ensuring cost-effective and efficient use.

Problem Solving:

Troubleshoot issues that arise in the field, offering timely solutions to minimize project delays.

Scheduling & Reporting:

Create and maintain project schedules, track progress, and report on status to upper management.

Training & Development:
