Provide leadership to hourly workforce to ensure safe and efficient production, maintenance, and customer service. Responsibilities Responsible for training and development of team, scheduling, performance management, and effective leadership of hourly workforce Successfully lead the Company’s safety initiatives Working knowledge and understanding of MSHA regulations and possess a strong personal commitment to safety Implement environmental processes and regulations Successfully lead and manage to established production, safety, and environmental objectives and metrics Participate in yearly planning of quarry production, maintenance and salary costs to meet budget goals Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mining, Civil), Business, or equivalent experience required 2+ years’ experience in aggregate operations with understanding of mineral processing equipment such as crushers, screens, conveyors, and associated mobile equipment Minimum 1 year supervisory experience in a mining environment Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills Excellent time management skills; ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks; strong planning skills Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook Experience with pit design/exploration, drilling, blasting, inventory control, inventory measures and customer service preferred Ability to work flexible schedule as required; including nights and weekends
