Position OverviewThe ExecutiveDirector (E.D.) serves as the chief executive officer of McCoyAdult Day Care Center, responsible for the strategic, operational,and financial management of the organization. Reporting to theBoard of Directors, the E.D. will oversee the day-to-dayoperations, ensuring the highest standards of care while leadingefforts in fundraising, community engagement, and programdevelopment. The ideal candidate will be a committed Christianleader, communicator with strong nonprofit management experience, adeep understanding of aging services, and a commitment tofaith-based, mission-driven work.
Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership &Operations Provide strategic direction and vision to achieve McCoy’smission and long-term goals. Oversee daily operations, ensuring compliance with allregulatory and licensing requirements. Hire, train, and manage a dedicated team, fostering a cultureof collaboration and excellence. Maintain a visible presence within the organization and thebroader community.
Program & Service Development Ensure programs align with McCoy’s mission and meet the needsof the elderly community. Continuously improve service offerings and evaluate programeffectiveness. Implement and monitor program outcomes to enhance servicequality and impact.
Fundraising & Financial Management Develop and execute fundraising strategies, including donorrelations, grants, and corporate partnerships. Prepare and manage the annual budget, ensuring financialsustainability. Monitor financial performance, ensuring transparency andaccountability in all financial operations.
Community Engagement &Advocacy Build and maintain strong relationships with communitypartners, donors, and local organizations. Serve as the spokesperson for McCoy, advocating for agingservices and senior care needs. Increase public awareness of McCoy’s mission through outreachand media engagement.
Board Relations Serve as the primary liaison to the Board of Directors,ensuring alignment on strategic initiatives. Provide regular reports and updates to the Board on operations,financials, and organizational needs. Support Board members in fundraising and governanceresponsibilities.
Qualifications & ExperienceEducation:
Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Public Administration,Nonprofit Management, or a related field (Master’s degreepreferred).
Experience:
Established leader of Christian faith, aligned with UnitedMethodist beliefs and practices. Minimum of 5 years of senior leadership experience in anonprofit, healthcare, or aging services setting. Proven experience in fundraising, donor relations, andfinancial management. Strong track record of team leadership and staffdevelopment. Experience in budget oversight and grant writing. Demonstrated ability to build and sustain community and donorrelationships. Ability to pass a criminal background check.
