Job Description

Nonprofit Executive Director OAK-C Together We Tee Manchester, CT 06040 • Hybrid work Overview The Executive Director will provide strategic leadership, operational oversight, and fundraising expertise to ensure the success and sustainability of the organization. This is currently a part-time contractual position that requires a dynamic individual with a proven track record in working with underrepresented populations, community-based organizations and program development/management. The Executive Director will work closely with the board of directors to execute the organization’s mission and goals. Key Duties Develop and execute the organization’s strategic plan, ensuring alignment with its mission and goals. Foster relationships with community leaders, donors and stakeholder Oversee the development and implementation of golf training, mentorship, and life skills program ensuring deliverables are completed on time, within scope and budget. Ensure the recruitment and retention of youth participants and their parents/guardians. Assess the program’s impact to facilitate ongoing improvement based on data and feedback. Assist with the development and execution of a comprehensive fundraising strategy, including grants, sponsorships, and donor relations. Manage the organization’s budget, ensuring financial sustainability and transparency. Ensure compliance with all nonprofit regulations, reporting requirements, and best practices. Recruit, manage, and support staff, volunteers, and mentors. Qualifications Proven experience managing community-based programs Passion for youth development, mentorship and diversity in golf. Bachelor’s in human services, social work or related field (Master’s degree preferred). Experience working with underrepresented communities and a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Experience in managing contracts and partnerships. Strategic thinker with the ability to develop long-term plans that align with organizational goals. Strong relationship building, communication, and public speaking skills. Experience in nonprofit management, youth development, or sports programming. Proven ability to develop and execute strategic plans, fundraise, and manage budgets. Proficiency with using Microsoft Office. This role is ideal for an innovative leader who is passionate about driving change and making a significant impact within the community and organization.
