JOB ROLE PURPOSE & SUMMARY
The Executive Directorleads the Florida Division located in Ft. Myers. The ExecutiveDirector will be responsible for leading the ongoing fundraisingand operations efforts by engaging and empowering the division’semployees, volunteers, donors, and board members.
The ExecutiveDirector provides key interfaces with the Division Advisory board,division employees and volunteers, and the MFB Nationalorganization. The Executive Director will maintain clear andappropriate communication with the Divisional Advisory Boardmembers. The Executive Director is responsible for ensuring fooddistribution programs are executed with efficient use of thefacilities, employees, and volunteers. The Executive Director willsupport MFB budgeting, reporting, system, tax adherence, and otherrequirements for a non-profit. The Executive Director willrepresent MFB to the community and will develop strategicrelationships to advance the MFB mission.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Supports Operations and Procurement roles to manage network forfood procurement, disaster relief and distribution of $50Mannually. Leads efforts to connect and build donor support for $1.3MMoperational budget. Supports Agency role to maintain and build relationships with240-400 food agencies. Supports Volunteer role to underpin division operations andspecific needs through volunteer engagement. Develop and build local brand awareness, donor base, andfinancial support. Build upon a strong, existing brand in a waythat grows and diversifies supporters while maintaining the basesupport. Oversee campus, property, and facility care, safety, andmaintenance. Active in donor relationship building, fundraising, and donorappreciation. Supports local and regional disaster relief efforts. Oversee all areas of operations including facility, staff,volunteers, and financial planning. Direct reports include all roles at the local divisionsupporting Operations, Volunteers & Development.
ADDITIONALRESPONSIBILITIES

Foster a Christ-centered culture; develop positiverelationships and appreciation for volunteers, employees, partneragencies, and community and business contacts. Ensure compliance with all MFB policies, procedures, and rulesand with all contractual obligations, regulatory standards, andrelevant laws. Recruit, interview, hire, and train new staff, includingvolunteers, in support of job role; discipline and terminate staffas needed. Network with peers locally and nationally and across the MFBorganization. Execute other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
5-years relevant work experience, 10-years desired. Bachelor’s degree in Non-profit, Business, Marketing, Finance,or related field. Demonstrated ability to lead projects, oversee programimplementation, and deliver results. Experience in community engagement, preferably across thecentral Indianapolis area. Ability to foster team-oriented work environment andachievements through others. Proven initiative, problem-solving, organization, and timemanagement skills. Excellent professional communications, interpersonal, andcustomer service skills. Ability to use technology or learn computer skills, such asOffice 365 and Salesforce. Willingness to participate in training may include developmentof professional skills, education on MFB’s policies and procedures,and additional training as it relates to the requirements of theposition.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer in anoffice setting; periods of movement in a warehouse setting. Minimal travel within community and to agencies; minimalout-of-state and overnight travel as needed; infrequent evening andweekend obligations. #J-18808-Ljbffr
