Development Director Child Advocacy Center of the 9th Judicial District and Iva’s Place…Program serving and sheltering victims and survivors of Domestic Violence. 887 Highway 70 W, Lenoir City, TN 37771 Job Summary The Development Director plays a pivotal role in driving two organizations, Child Advocacy Center of the 9th Judicial District and Iva’s Place, fundraising efforts, raising awareness of the missions of both non-profit organizations and strategic initiatives. This position is responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive fundraising strategies, managing donor relationships, and overseeing events that promote the organization’s mission. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in digital marketing, relationship management, and grant proposal writing to enhance the organization’s visibility and funding opportunities. Responsibilities Develop and execute a strategic fundraising plan that aligns with the organization’s goals and strategic plan. Manage relationships with current donors while identifying and cultivating new prospects. Oversee all aspects of events management, including planning, execution, and post-event evaluation. Manage both agency’s social media, websites and using such platforms to present new fundraising events, prevention training, growing our volunteer base and quarterly newsletters. Prepare grant proposals and reports to secure funding from various sources. Prepare budgets for fundraising campaigns and events Conduct estate planning discussions with potential major donors to secure long-term contributions. Experience Proven experience in development or fundraising roles, preferably in a nonprofit or educational setting. Strong background in digital marketing strategies and tools Demonstrated ability in events management with a track record of successful fundraising events. Experience in raising annual salary be the beginning of year two. Exceptional relationship management skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders. Experience in budgeting and financial planning related to fundraising initiatives. Proficiency in grant proposal writing with successful outcomes in securing funding. Strategic planning experience that contributes to organizational growth and sustainability.
