Director of AI and Process Improvement
JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for analyzing business processes, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing strategies primarily utilizing Artificial Intelligence (AI), software, and technology to improve/optimize operations and achieve desired outcomes. Works closely with different departments to analyze workflows, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies that streamline operations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Analyze existing processes: Identify areas where inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement exist.
Develop improvement strategies:
Create and implement process improvement plans using methodologies, Artificial Intelligence, systems, software directly, and/or utilizing third-party assistance.
Lead cross-functional teams: Manage and guide teams to execute process improvement projects effectively.
Implement and monitor changes:
Ensure new processes are implemented successfully and monitor their effectiveness, making adjustments as needed.
Communicate with stakeholders:
Collaborate with different departments to ensure alignment and gather feedback on process improvements.
Train and mentor:
Educate team members on process improvement methods and best practices.
Prepare reports and recommendations:
Develop and present reports on project progress and recommendations for improvement to senior management.
Stay updated:
Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices in process improvement.
Document and maintain process flow:
Ensure that process documentation is accurate and organized.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Azure AI Certification or ARTIBA Preferred
- 5-7 years’ of Experience in process improvement or project management
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
Strong analytical skills: Ability to analyze data, identify patterns, and make data-driven decisions.
Problem-solving skills:
Ability to identify and resolve process issues.
Communication and interpersonal skills:
Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Project management skills:
Ability to manage projects from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery and successful outcomes.
Leadership skills:
Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
Knowledge of process improvement methodologies:
Familiarity with techniques utilizing AI
Technical skills: Proficiency in using process mapping tools and data analysis software.
Experience:
Typically requires several years of experience in process improvement, operations, or related fields. 20% Overnight travel required
