• Manages short term cash balances for assigned accounts Reconcile daily activity in internal portfolio system to custodial system Compile daily cash figures across assigned accounts Review and resolve discrepancies on the prior workday’s cash reconciliation from Accounting Work with internal asset class, accounting, and Financial Systems staff and custodian to resolve differences Post cash sweep figures to the internal portfolio system 20%•Monitor and process cash wires and transfers in custodian wire system for assigned accounts Ensures proper approval is included for all transactions Works with Financial Systems to create new wire templates in the custodial bank’s wire system Initiate all cash movements in custodial bank wire system 10%•Process activity to the portfolio system Monitors daily RPA process and works with IT to resolve any issues Research and resolve any exceptions related to RPA process.

Processes batch templates 20%

• Processes checks and ACH Approves paycycles in PeopleSoft Financials after reviewing provided documentation Prints checks and ACH advices and required copies Processes required reports Uploads and verifies appropriate positive pay and ACH files to bank system Delivers all items to appropriate parties Processes stop payment requests in bank system Authorizes positive pay exceptions 10%
• Administer trading activity in assigned accounts Monitor FX requests to ensure trades are executed and posted in an accurate and timely manner Reconcile all trading activity with custodian Disseminate confirmed trading activity reports to appropriate parties 10%
• Provides support and acts as backup to other group functions in the following areas as needed Derivatives Processing Corporate Action Authorization Corporate action processing Equity trade processing/reconciliation 05%
• Assist in the day-to-day operations of Investment Operations Execute regularly scheduled testing of Disaster Recovery plans Organize and prepare documentation of all manually entered transactions for filing Complete special projects supporting the maintenance and ongoing development of Financial Operations and the overall SBA mission Other duties as assigned Qualifications Three years of related experience.

A postsecondary degree may be used as an alternative for years of direct experience; 2 years for an associate’s degree, 4 years for a bachelor’s degree, 6 years for a master’s degree, 7 years for a professional degree, or 9 years for a doctoral degree.

Preferences:

A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in accounting, finance, business, or a related field

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Knowledge of financial concepts and theories and their application Extensive Microsoft Excel skills Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and orally Ability to perform at a high level in a team environment Ability to work efficiently and multitask under time constraints, with attentional to detail Ability to conduct research, compile data and present results in an articulate and useful manner
