We are dedicated to diversity, sustainability, and continuous improvement in all aspects of our business. We are seeking a Quality and Continuous Improvement, Senior Manager for our new mill. The Quality and Continuous Improvement, Senior Manager will provide process engineering oversight for the entire manufacturing process, reliability to improve quality, increase production and yield, and eliminate waste. The Quality and Continuous Improvement, Senior Manager is responsible for working with team members at all levels to capture strategic value opportunities and implementing operating practices to improve the mill’s overall competitive position. The Quality and Continuous Improvement, Senior Manager will be responsible for: Supervise and support value creation and production efforts by analyzing process performance and developing key metrics. Ensure mill optimization parameters are set to maximize value creation and promote continuous safety improvement. Develop and report performance metrics, identify improvement opportunities, and track success. Troubleshoot equipment issues and continuously evaluate machine performance. Supervise the Quality Control team and their development, conduct new product development and testing. Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities and track process improvement projects. Interface with production and maintenance teams to resolve issues and stay current with new technologies and best practices. The Quality and Continuous Improvement, Senior Manager will have the following qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or economics. Prior lumber manufacturing experience in a leadership technical/process optimization role. Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing certification.
