Position Overview:

We are looking for a disciplined, analytical, and detail-oriented Pricing Operations Analyst to support our life insurance pricing team. This role is ideal for someone with 1-2 years of experience in a data-driven, analytical environment who is looking to grow in pricing, actuarial operations, and finance. The ideal candidate will assist with pricing life insurance contracts, support cross-functional projects, and work on process improvements. You will work closely with the Portfolio Manager and contribute to improving pricing processes and executing strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze, update, and maintain pricing for life insurance contracts across various channels and systems Support the preparation, validation, and execution of pricing proposals Assist with the development and implementation of pricing strategies to support business objectives Coordinate and execute special pricing projects as assigned Collaborate with Sales, Finance, and Contracting teams to ensure pricing accuracy and consistency Monitor and audit pricing activity to ensure compliance with internal guidelines Handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a deadline-driven environment Perform statistical and financial analysis to support pricing decisions, leveraging Excel and other tools (e.g., R, Python, SQL) Participate in special projects related to process improvement, pricing tools, data validation, and reporting Demonstrate interest in investments and insurance finance to grow into broader pricing and valuation support

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, finance, actuarial science, economics, or a related field 1-2 years of experience in pricing, actuarial support, or financial analysis Strong Excel skills; experience with statistical tools (e.g., R, Python) Solid understanding of basic statistical concepts and a growing interest in finance and investment principles Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities Effective communicator, both written and verbal, and comfortable working across teams Self-starter with strong follow-through and eagerness to learn
