Responsibilities Plan, lead, facilitate, and execute kaizen/rapid improvement events Develop training materials and processes in support of the organization’s lean transformation and creation of the Trojan Business System Train, teach, coach and develop associates to be leaders of continuous improvement activities throughout the organization as part of the implementation of the Trojan Business System Educate and position identified stakeholders to independently drive continuous process improvement within their departments with a set of proven tactics and techniques Supports key process owners and stakeholders to identify and prioritize improvement efforts Serves as a key change agent to effectively drive sustainable process improvement efforts across the organization Manage the project pipeline for assigned part of the business Create and maintain standard work procedures for key business processes Provide periodic status reports, issue lists, budget reports, and project plans Implements and supervise appropriate escalation protocols associated with tasks and projects Develops and delivers presentations for multiple organizational levels Acts as a Project Manager to execute process improvement initiatives, typically for projects yielding very large savings for the organization Demonstrates a commitment to meeting deliverables and deadlines in a fast-paced environment, managing to a project plan, project charter, issues list and budget Utilizes root cause problem solving tools (including A3 process) in day-to-day decision making Perform workflow, cycle time, and throughput-analysis Optimizes workload and schedule Performs other duties as required Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Management, Operations Research, Information Technology, or another related field 5+ years of work experience in engineering, project management, consulting, or other related area Formal education in Lean/Six Sigma principles or other formal process improvement training preferred Experience in leading complex cross-functional, cross-business unit process improvement and management efforts Excellent leading skills to lead, mentor, and coach a group of specialists and trainers to success Ability to work collaboratively, both with and through individuals Ability to coach, mentor and teach staff and leaders to better integrate systems thinking into organizational practice Demonstrated expertise in change management, facilitation and project management methods Ability to design and implement business process reviews, performance scorecards and process governance teams Ability to integrate industry best practices and benchmarks into current operations Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to develop and deliver presentations for multiple organizational levels Experienced with in-depth financial analysis preferred
Salary Range:
