This role involves making daily decisions that maximize profitability and has a large impact on sales, margin, and inventory. This role reports into the Director of Operations and is based in our Buckhead, GA office. 50%
- Buying/Forecasting
Publish monthly costing and capacity supply forecasts to factories, sourcing, and production teams
Create and maintain all buys, including any negotiations with factories on delays, shortages, or overages
Manage single-season, multi-season, and replenishment product types
Execute necessary revisions to buys, driven by changes in customer demand and/or changes in global supply chain operation
Monitor vendor performance and execute any logistic changes needed to meet expected deliverables
Manage the physical flow of inventory to support both customer demand and warehouse capacities 40%•Order Management
Proactively manage customer purchase orders and all related aspects
Determine the business impact of any delivery issues, prioritize, and communicate any issues relative to product flow as they arise
Communicate with transportation/warehouse teams to execute on time shipment to customers
Meet with external customer teams to provide information and support as needed for clear communication and positive results 10%•Reporting/Project Management
Weekly reporting to cross-functional teams on operational performance of the brand
Operations team representative for new company initiatives and system rollouts
Project management for high priority programs (i.
e. Black Friday)

Must have:
2-5 years prior experience with buying and/or forecasting in a retail/supply chain environment
Solid understanding of inventory management and forecasting principles
Must be capable of managing multiple competing objectives simultaneously while hitting critical time sensitive deadlines Must have the ability to use data to recognize and action on potential disruptions in the supply chain
Ability to combine analytical skills with practical business knowledge
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and an intermediate/advanced user of Excel
Self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement
Strong numeric, analytical, and critical thinking skills: Proficient in Microsoft applications and an intermediate/advanced user of Excel
Preferred skills and experience:
Well versed in reporting tools such as Tableau
Excellent communication, analytical, leadership, and interpersonal skills
Candidate must have a strong focus and proven attention to detail
Team player who works well in a collaborative environment, make decisions in partnership with cross functional teams
