The Senior Manager is responsiblefor implementing APS in assigned plants, providing leadership andcoaching to achieve operational excellence and maintain employeewell-being.
The Continuous Improvement Senior Manager will utilizestrong interpersonal skills and a proven track record of leadingand implementing change to: Demonstrate leadership, uphold high personal standards, anddevelop professional ethics Engage with Sr. Operations Director and VP, Manufacturing onregional loss elimination activities and planning Support Operations Leadership in regional loss planningprocesses Educate, communicate, and collaborate with all levels ofmanufacturing employees, including senior leadership, plantmanagers, and shop-floor staff Plan, lead, and facilitate meetings and working sessions Manage multiple initiatives simultaneously Develop and execute detailed project plans Utilize computer skills for presentations and spreadsheets Train Plant CI Practitioners, Operators, and Plant Leadershipin Altium Production Systems Create and drive local loss planning Lead cross-functional improvement teams Lead local improvement work Create APS Element content in collaboration with the ElementOwnerRequired Education and Experience 10-15 years of practical experience with Total ProductiveMaintenance (TPM), including team development and coaching 10-15 years of practical application of TPM and ContinuousImprovement principles Manufacturing operations experience, preferably in rigidplastics and continuous flow manufacturing Strong leadership skills and decision-making ability Team player with the ability to influence organizationalchange Self-starter with the ability to work independently in anentrepreneurial environment while implementing APS standards Excellent written and verbal communication skills Analytical mindset with data organization skills Strong problem-solving skills Willingness to travel extensively for remote-basedrolePreferred Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field such asbusiness, planning, or supply chain Continued interest in manufacturing, continuous improvement,plant operations/management, and senior management roles
