The Local Process Manager is responsible for identifying improvement opportunities and developing proposals in coordination with the Key User community, defining level of standardization for processes and/or systems in alignment with the business functions, IT and GPO. This role also works on global projects, defines, and aligns user requirements, supports ongoing operation of processes and applications, manages user communities, estimates, and secures appropriate resources, project planning and execution and spreads best practices as well as ensures compliance and validated state of processes and systems.
- Duties & Responsibilities
- + Responsible for Process adherence and improvement within a single process are of expertise.
+ Partners with peers and process adherence colleagues to define and implement KPI’s to measure performance and identify opportunities for improvement. Includes ensuring template and localized processes are implemented and are being followed correctly, as well as driving local and/or global improvements and optimization in the specific supported process area/stream, shares improvements and best practices. + Independently supports deployment projects, upgrades, process improvements as required within the applicable site(s), regions and/or countries for specific process area. Scope can include stand-alone systems, core SAP, and interfaced systems within the system landscape. + Works across the site(s) and/or BUs to support demand creation and implementation of process improvements for responsible process area. + Delivers value and meets site needs while using standard template solutions where possible. + Partners with local process owners and business colleagues as applicable across the network to ensure continued compliance and alignment between business processes, specifications, test plans, SOP’s, risk mitigation matrices, and other process documents and procedures for responsible process area. + Brings knowledge, innovation, and solutions into the organization through involvement with global user groups and other professional organizations. + Partners with relevant stakeholders to influence development of products and/or process in support of compliance and efficiency. + Engages and builds commitment with leadership at the site(s) to build a strong and sustainable culture of key users and/or system/process experts.
Demand Management:
+ Acts as first contact to gather demand specifications and ensures correct communication to global demand coordinators and IT. + Ensures continuous demand status follow-up and provides status update to demand requester.
- Requirements
- + Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Industrial Technology, Engineering, or related degree.
+ Requires a minimum of five (5) years’ experience in SAP, process design and improvement and/or process engineering or related experience. + In lieu of degree, a minimum of eight (8) years of advanced SAP experience, process design and improvement and/or process engineering is required. + Experience within pharmaceutical or bio-pharmaceutical production or supporting areas (e.g. quality assurance in production) preferred. + Profound experience in business process design. + Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of leading of workshops. + Intrinsic motivation. + Communication skills. + Experience in a cGMP manufacturing facility or similar environment, SAP certification, Supply Chain certification and/or Lean/Six Sigma Certification is strongly preferred. + Demonstrated ability to identify and analyze problems, evaluate alternatives, and implement effective solutions. + Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Eligibility Requirements
- : + Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction. + Must be willing to take a drug test and post-offer physical (if required). + Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Desired Skills, Experience and Abilities
- + Participated in a minimum of 4 SAP deployment projects + S4Hana experience + Experience in a minimum of 3 MES implementations + ISA-95 certification + Experience in acting as a GPE (Global process expert) and team lead in SAP internal projects + Expert user in the following systems:
SOLMAN, ALM, ITEMS, ARIS
