Communicate Hub goals and initiatives with the assigned carrier base to ensure alignment of service and communication requirements. Address carrier questions regarding RFPs while also packaging and maintaining bid packages to source the most aggressive pricing possible. Participate in the formal RFP bid feedback calls as well as conduct light negotiations with carriers on an as needed basis Manage daily and weekly carrier capacity commitments and communicate available capacity for load recoveries and market opportunities for growth. Analyze carrier performance scorecards and drive improvements in areas such as on-time performance, communication, event timeliness, and tender acceptance. Initiate and manage carrier corrective action plans to address consistent carrier shortfalls. Understand customer and facility needs so that the Company adheres to a high standard of on-time drayage performance. Proactive communication with Account Management and Capacity Planning Develop customer corrective action plans and assign tasks to ensure proper accountability, follow through and long-term performance sustainability Perform network failure trend analysis Duties, responsibilities and activities may be assigned or changed from time to time. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor ‘s degree is preferred, but not required, in Business, Transportation, Logistics or Supply Chain. Two or more years of experience in the LTL or TL segments is preferred, but not required. Must have excellent communications skills – interpersonal, verbal, written, and be able to interact well with others in a team environment as well as with our customers and vendors. Organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to establish and prioritize workload in order to meet team and company goals using good business judgment. Proficiency with MS Office software, specifically Microsoft Excel for reporting Ability to manage multiple priorities as well as flexibility to adapt to change with new systems and methods while working in a team environment.
Salary Range:
$50,000 – $55,000/year base salary plus eligibility for additional incentive This is an estimated range based on the circumstances at the time of posting, however it may change based on a combination of factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, education, market factors, geographical location, budget, and demand.
