WHAT YOU WILL DO
The CI Manager will work closely within the Sanitation Operations business, closely aligning with operations to execute critical business drivers. You will travel across divisions while you work to define your territory and be accountable for program sustainability and the annual achievement of cost savings targets.
Job duties include:
Implement PSSI’s Operational Excellence Strategy to deliver significant savings that lower the total cost of sanitation year after year. Administer, train, and assess developed leadership training for diverse groups within the organization. Identify and/or provide training on CI and Operational Leadership techniques as needed. Facilitate and own problem-solving action plans that drive bottom line improvements in the division’s metrics (Safety, Food Safety, TEAM, Delivery, and Cost). Use a fact-based approach to prioritize improvement opportunities and support KPI tracking for division CI and Operations goals. Develop Operational Leadership team’s knowledge and skills to create exceptional leadership. Develop and implement plans to engage every team member, salaried and hourly, in the CI Process. Understand and promote all safety guidelines developed by the company. Continually look for ways to reduce costs and increase efficiency. Other duties as assigned.
YOUR MUST HAVES
Must be 18 years of age or older. Strong knowledge of Lean Rules and Principles. Ability to work with and influence all levels of the organization. Ability to teach and coach team members at all levels of the organization in the use of Lean tools. Excellent project management skills, Creative problem solving and innovative approaches to resolve complex problems.
WHAT WE PREFER YOU HAVE
5 or more years of operations and/or lean leadership experience (Food Manufacturing or Sanitation). Associate or bachelor’s degree in business or related field. Bilingual (English and Spanish).
OUR ENVIRONMENT
This position is based in your home office and requires travel between different facilities with different working shifts. The working conditions range from wet, hot, cold environments which require the use of Personal Protective Equipment (“PPE”). Walking, standing, sitting, and computer work are all required in this environment. Sitting for extended periods of time when travelling (mostly driving) is also required.
