Import Operations Analyst Del Corona & Scardigli USA Charlotte, NC 28205 Del Corona & Scardigli USA is a leading company in the freight forwarding sector. Our company is seeking an experienced and organized Ocean Import Operator to join our team. The Ocean Import Operator will be responsible for handling all aspects of ocean import shipments, including communication with clients, carriers, and overseas agents, and ensuring that all shipments are processed and delivered in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Job Responsibilities:

Coordinate various aspects of ocean import freight, trucking (drayage, LTL, FTL) and warehousing Operations. Collaborate with international and domestic agents, as well as branch offices. Approve carrier invoices for payment . Handle and oversee customer communication at the file level. Open import files and provide accurate job costing forecasts Collaborate with sales on account implementation Update Track and Trace proprietary applications Prepare billing and invoicing for each file to the respective customer.

Requirements:

High School diploma or bachelor’s degree in a related field (desired but not required) Minimum of 2 years of experience in Ocean Imports Air Import operation experience a plus. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational and time management abilities Self-motivated, with the ability to work both independently and in a team Detail-oriented with excellent multitasking skills and the ability to meet deadlines Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite Willingness to take on additional duties as assigned by management.
