I recently have been retained by a Middle Market Investment Bank in Raleigh NC. The firm is seeking Investment Banking Associates to join their Industrials M&A team (Construction Materials). Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree required, major or concentration in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred. 2+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or corporate development with proven experience leading the full M&A process from origination through close. OR 1+ years of similar experience paired with an MBA from a top-tier university. Strong quantitative and analytical skills, including financial modeling and financial statement analysis. Proficiency with core valuation methodologies, including DCF, comps, and precedent transactions. Proven leadership ability and sound independent judgment. Excellent communication skills-written, verbal, and listening-as well as strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills. Superior organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated maturity, integrity, and the ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial, team-oriented culture. Genuine interest in the engineering and construction industry. Experience with Pitchbook, S&P Capital IQ, and DealCloud is a plus.
