Job Description

Overview Provide oversight of and compliance with requirements of federal grant and research studies by working with DH Grants Management to meet pre- and post-award deadlines ensuring continued participation in the 340B pricing program. Responsibilities Monitor use of HRSA Maternal and Child Heath Bureau funds and reconcile with the approved plan quarterly. Maintain written procedures and establish layers of review to ensure compliance, per HRSA guidelines. Maintain a plan for the data reporting effort on CDC Community Counts sub-award and monitor for timely invoicing. Provide financial oversight for various research studies as entered into by HTC Principal Investigators. Work with DH Finance to prepare annual Program Income Report Per

MHMH 340B

Drug Pricing Policy, support compliance with all requirements and restrictions under Section 340B of the Public Health Service Act by enforcing a plan to maintain auditable records and conduct monthly audits of patient records, contract pharmacy transactions, and Conifer billing activity Optimize program income by monitoring insurance reimbursements, prompt-pay discounts, and qualifications for manufacturer rebates. Prepare annual DH budget and conduct variance analysis on a monthly basis. Work with accounting to ensure revenues and expenses are posted to correct cost centers and GL accounts. Participate in negotiations with contract pharmacies and other HTC business associates Develop automated workflows for capturing data to maximize efficiency and ensure continuity of providing information to regulatory bodies. Act as backup to Program Assistant including ordering HTC Factor and Monoclonal Antibodies, record keeping, and billing. Attend Hemophilia Alliance meetings for continuing education on hemophilia and business practices Perform other duties as required or assigned. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree with three (3) years of relevant business or supervisory/management experience, preferably in a health care environment required. Master’s degree in business administration or health administration or related clinical science field preferred. Excellent organization, interpersonal, oral, and writing skills required. Demonstrated leadership abilities. Previous healthcare finance background preferred. Knowledge of computerized information systems, graphing, and statistics. Must be self-motivated, detail oriented, and analytical. Excellent networking and oral /written communication skills with the ability to relate and deal effectively with physicians, administrators, support staff, and the general public with tact and discretion.
